Every night i cant manage to fall asleep. It is really starting to bug me because i work 15 to 16 hr shifts. When i lay down to go to bed i dont have too much going through my head. I just cant go to sleep. So i go to work or school with at most 2 hrs of sleep.

Hi  AngeMetcalf,

I agree with the above answers this all happen to you because you are not taking proper rest. Sometimes it happens to me too, when I need rest, and I don't get enough sleep, and it makes me anxious and irritating also.

Are you drinking caffeine late at night (including pop/soda and tea)?  Also, you need time to settle down after work, worth dim lights and limited TV or screen time since the light will keep you up.

No easy answers here, but I'd start with those long work shifts.  Important to schedule yourself enough time for proper sack time, which means for most a good 7 to 9 hours, plus time for yourself on either end.  If you can't do that, your best solution might be to find another job.
