Could anxiety have caused all this?

I’ve posted here before but here’s my story about 4 months I had the day off work and being the typical man in his twenties and with nothing else to do I decided to play a new game I got called far cry 5. Well while I was playing this game I noticed something was off but I didn’t pay any attention until I noticed everything was spinning and I was completely off balance. I know now that is motion sickness mixed with vertigo but since that was the first time that’s ever happened to me period I panicked and started downing bottles of water because I thought I was dehydrated and drinking all the water at once made completely sick. After a couple of hours I was able to calm myself down and aside from the vertigo I was able to just shake if off and go sleep. When I woke up I had no appetite and felt completely weak but I wasn’t to concerned because I expected to still be a little sick but after a week of still feeling that way I started to freak out and my anxiety was through and to top it all off I started having the digestive disorders I’m still having now. I was in constant anxiety because I had no idea what was happening even though my ct scan, ultra sound and all the blood work came back normal. It’s been 4 months and I’m still having digestive problems and pain. I’m just curious if my anxiety could’ve caused this because to me nothing else really makes sense.

Sorry this all happened to you?  Does Far Cry 5 have lots of flashing lights?  I ask because I've seen warnings how this can affect you neurologically.  Inner ear issues are also well known for vertigo and vertigo can cause nausea along with the dizziness.

Anyway, good news is that upon examination including ct scan and blood work, things appear normal.  When you say digestive problems, what are you referring to?  Not wanting to eat and weakness?  Or like bathroom problems, stomach cramping, etc.?

Anxiety definitely can manifest into physical symptoms.  Depending on what is going on with the stomach issues/digestive issues . . . I'd make sure you have nothing going on with that ----  and otherwise, what about talking to your doctor about treatment for anxiety?

I actually DID get vertigo from inner ear dysfunction.  was very ill.  After, I had anxiety when I felt my ear get that same kind of fullness that preceded the episode and I can become very anxious.  Having a terrible episode can cause anxiety.  But after 4 months, you really need to go to the next level of treating the anxiety if it has continued like that.

As far as my anxiety I’ve been very good at keeping it at bay without medication I’ve always had pretty good control over it I just never felt that sick before so it really freaked me out.

With my digestion issues it’s mostly pain/burning/discomfort in the upper abdomen area like its bloated or swollen. I also burp a lot and sometimes it’s hard to get a burp out.

I was born with an ear infection and I had it through most of my childhood. I also had a hole in my eardrum but it patched up when I was 11. I do get pain in my ears and I’ll also get the occasional ringing but that’s been the norm for me so it’s never bothered me.

I’ve always had a big appetite so when I completely lost it I freaked because I literally gagging and forcing food down. For awhile I was in constant anxiety because I had pressure at work and my job was at risk. I was if not one the best employee but my production was slipping so I panicked. I’m getting better I just kinda wanna be sure just to be on the safe side.
