Has anyone had ovarian lesions?

I was recently hospitalized and on one of my CT scans, they found a 3.8cm lesions on my left ovary. I have a history of ovarian cysts, but this is a first for me. I called my dr last week and her nurse had me send over my scan so the dr could review it. I received a call back from the nurse that the dr wants to see me in the office. I’m scheduled next week, but I’m in a panic now.

No need to panic. Ovarian cysts are very common and most resolve on their own, no intervention needed. And even ones that don't resolve are almost always benign. 3.8cm is still on the small side so may very well go away in the next couple of months. If you don't have a copy of your CT scan report, you may want to obtain a copy before next week's appointment.

Let us know what you find out from your doctor.
