Hormonam imbalance and yeast infection?

Apparently I can consistently getting yeast infections due to hormonam imbalance. I'm afraid to overdose on the fluconazole. Is there a natural way of getting rid of it? I'm thinking cranberry juice but should I drink it once in a while or is there another alternative. Because I have to avoid sugar in order to fix my hormonal imbalance.

Do you have a diagnosis of ‘hormonal imbalance’? Cutting sugar is good for insulin/glucose issues but I’m not sure it’s going to help with yeast infection. How old are you? Do you take birth control pills?

I'm 26, no I don't take birth controls. I'm not even sure how I got hormonal imbalance. My doctor said it's stress, and that my estrogen level is at 203. I'm not sure if that's high. My sex hormones I don't have it anymore either. I constantly keep getting yeast infections. And I have to keep seeing the doctor for fluconazole  but it isn't working at all.
Your estrogen levels are ok, they vary enormously at your age, one blood test means nothing. When you say your sex hormone, do you mean testosterone? Your sex drive, libido, must be low because you’re having these yeast infections. If fluconazole isn’t working your doctor should have changed it for another antifungal agent. My opinion? Find another doctor asap.
Okay, thank you so much!!! They keep giving me that. And this time they gave me fluconazole along with clindamycin. But I just started taking it this week. I am going to see another GYN doctor immediately!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Clindamycin + Fluconazole is better. Don’t interrupt the treatment.
The hormonal imbalance theory is weird, unless you were my age, 52 :(. Good luck with new Gynae!
Okay, thank you very much! I hope this time it'll work!! So far no itching but discharge is still a little thick.
I’m sorry, I tried to answer you yesterday but the website was having a glitch. Yeast infections are very stubborn. Your local immunity is probably low so you should  ask your Gynae to investigate that. Don’t forget to drink plenty of water and ALWAYS have a pee after sex and wash the whole area with a gentle soap (carry it with you in your  handbag). Recurrent infection is a sign of imbalance in your  vaginal flora, there are some products that your Gynae can prescribe you to kerp your own bacteria happy that protect you from the yeast (Candida). Good luck and keep us posted!
Hmmm.. low immune system. I googled that and 1 symptom is low platelet count and that is what I have. I will definitely ask my doctor about that. I actually have a new doctor now so I hope he's good. And I will ask about imbalance in vagina flora. Thank you so much!
Another symptom is long term infection. And I've been having bacteria infection on my throat for a while now. Hmm... so many questions to ask my new doctor!!
It’s never simple... make sure to write everything down so you won’t forget anything.
