Why do my hands burn and feel as if skin is bursting?

This is a recent symptom and happens when I feel unwell and precedes partial or total collapse.  Have a loop recorder fitted for diagnosis.  Over the past 5 years I have passed out on numerous occasions but lately have prevented it by laying on floor but it takes a good 20 mins b4 these feelings pass

Hello~I would certainly ask your doctor why this is happening. Also, you may have some misplaced vertebrae in your neck and this could cause some of the symptoms as well. I would see a chiropractor if all the other tests are "normal" maybe a few treatments will be of some help to you.

Gosh, this is terrible.  How often does this happen?  When do you get the result of the cardiac testing?  Is the fainting what prompted them to give you the monitor or did you have other symptoms. You are very smart to lay down.  My son has been getting syncope/fainting/dizziness and had an episode over the weekend in which he took a hard fall and caught his cheek bone on the edge of our counter.  It's a stone counter.  He has a huge goose egg and a black eye still forming, poor guy.  So, falls from this are dangerous in their own way such as hitting head or face.  His issue is likely dehydration.  Syncope is not always heart related as it can be sugar related or dehydration.
As to your hands and feet burning, wow.  Do you think there is a circulation issue going on?  My hands get like that if they are swollen. They feel that way.  This happens when I walk, for example.  definitely talk to your doctor and add the new symptom in.  You could have a blip in circulation and as blood reflows, it tingles, burns, feels weird on your hands.  ??  Not sure but ask your doctor. Please come back and update us!
