Hematoma?? please help me

after somebody hit me (extremely hard), i got a huge hematoma on my head. it was probably fist size, and this happened on june 19th (so its been over 40 days?)\. it has yet gone down a lot, but i still have a penny size bump on my forehead. there is also a very small pin sized bump next to it/attached to it. this bump is still here and has hardened? i tried putting ice on it in the past few days and there's been no noticeable shrinkage of the size. i had put pressire on it but i stopped because i learned it slows down the healing process. now it is just a sore bump on my forehead, and i would really want it gone. i'm worried about calcification and i wouldn't be able to get it removed for a long time......i'm a minor. i really, really want it gone and i'm scared it won't go away and it makes me very anxious. does anybody have remedies for making it go away quickly?

Oh darn it!  I'm sorry to hear that.  Well, what about the injections?  I'd try that first.  They should help.

Yeah, I’ve heard about cortisone injections but I’m planning to schedule an appointment with some type of cosmetic surgeon within the next few months as there are a few in my area that specialize in removing bumps within bones so maybe that’ll also be an option instead of a surgery, hopefully all goes well :)

I read that you should also be drinking a good amount of water to flush your system.  And you may simply (even though it sounds painful) cortisone injections into the area to reduce it. Let me know  what the doctor thinks and again, whomever hit you should be far fAR away from you from now on!

After going to the doctor she says it probably has calcified and that there’s nothing to do about it. I’m probably going to look into some type of cosmetic procedure for it

Ugh, who the heck hit you like that?  Hopefully you pressed charges, like for real.  You must go see a doctor.  Unfortunately, some hematomas do not go away on their own.  You are right.  You want a doctor to guide you on this.  A doctor might have drained it previously and am not sure if they still can. Have you tried the obvious, ice on it on a regular basis? Were you checked for concussion after by the way?  I definitely think you need to see a doctor for guidance on this.  good luck

Yes, I’ve tried ice on a regular basis. Wasn’t checked for a for a concussion, I don’t think I have one. I’ll probably go see a doctor soon so it can go away, I think it has calcified.
