How long until Clindamycin 300mg helps my tooth & jaw pain, and cheek swelling?
My lower right jaw was a little sore yesterday. I woke up today, it feels like someone punched me in that same spot and it's swollen, and it got worse very quickly, now my mouth is in throbbing pain and it hurts to move my face/mouth/lips. My doctor prescribed me 300mg clindamycin. How long until my pain goes away?!? Took my first (double) dose an hour ago and I'm in so much pain still, I'm sweating and can't think of anything else!!! Please help!!! Any rule of thumb for how long it takes for the pain to subside?
