Question regarding tuberculosis jerm

Wbc is 11800, hemoglobin 10.3, neutrophils 46, lymphosites 50,ESR 42,
Chest x-ray- prominent right interpolar septa
Mantauox test - positive 14 nm
It is my 20 month child diagnosis. He is taken BCG at time of birth
Doctor said he is suffering from tuberculosis jerm and advise for treatment TB
I want to Know this is right diagnosis and can I start treatment of my child.

Did the dr say your son has active TB?
It was discovered I was exposed to the TB germ when I was a kid. I was given INH treatment for 6 months. I am 36 years old now and have had no problems. I still test postive and scar tissue is noted on my chest x ray but so far so good.

I think the best person to answer your questions would be your sons pediatrician.
