I have allergies to so many environmental things like dust, mold pollen, dust mites etc., and no matter how much I clean or where I try to sleep at my home or even if I get hypoallergenic sheets my nose gets stuffed and I'll have poor sleep quality. I have not have a good night's sleep in over a month. I'm developing severe depression because I'm regularly sleep deprived. I went to an Ear Nose and Throat doctor and received nasal steroids but they don't help (so far, been using for two weeks). I am receiving allergy immunization treatment but that won't start to help me until 8 months. Antihistamines don't help all that well and they exacerbate my depression. I'm beginning to doubt that this problem is just an allergy problem. What can I do to help my insomnia while waiting? Do I need to see a sleep specialist?
