Hi almost certainly you are negative for both, retest again for the hsv1 if you concerned but not hsv2 as thats surely negative.

I'm more concerned about hsv2 since my medical officer said I'm having it since antibody presents in the test as 0.1 igg despite the range for negative by the lab clearly indicates less than 0.51 is negative.

According to the medical officer, it should be 0 to conclude negative.
Hi Dave, need your advise?
Your medical officer seems to have no idea about the numbers. If less than 1 then its negative.  As for hsv1 it's inconclusive. Which means 1 more test will confirm .

Anyone? Need your advise as doctor told me I'm positive for both due to antibody presence for the test. Eventhough the range for hsv-2 falls under negative. Less than 0.51 is indicated as negative
