Heart racing wakes me up. Can no longer sleep.

Starting five days ago. I woke up with my heart racing and nausea. It's progressively gotten worst so now I can't sleep longer ghwin two hours a night. I wake up with my heart pounding and nausea. My doctor is running tests right now for cortisol/ thyroid/ etc and they won't be back until next week with results. My recent ecg showed a introventicular conduction delay.

There are many things that cause irregular heart beat or palpitations. I've been awakened by them so I understand how you feel. I'm sure your doctor will find out what they are and hopefully offer you some help. Sometimes, taking beta blockers will help greatly with this condition. They are not a cure but they do help a lot by lowering your heart rate. I'm discovering that many people have similar problems so it's  not really uncommon though when these things happen to us, they become large in our minds. That's human nature. Let us know what the results of your tests are.
