Are bumps in back of throat and side of tonsils normal?

I have bumps that I'm able to feel on my tonsils and in the back of my throat. They seem to be there often but are only noticable sometimes. Is this normal? No pain, but occasionally I'll feel a muscle cramp type of feeling that only lasts for a little while and doesn't hurt too much.

Hello and welcome to MedHelp's forums.  The surface of the throat and tonsils can vary and still be normal.  That you have no pain is a good sign that this is the case for you.  Here is some information though to help you decide. https://www.webmd.com/oral-health/picture-of-the-tonsils  Ultimately, a doctor examining them will be the answer to whether or not your tonsils/throat are healthy.  Let us know what you think
