How should sex life post syphillis be?

I was detected with syphyllis in first week of January
VDRL was reactive 1:4 and TPHA came to 1:2564. I had a dose of 3 penicillin injections at a gap of 1 week each. Doctor has said that I am cured and sure enough all the warts or moles have disappeared. Tested twice at a gap of month for other STDs the were all non-reactive. once in first week of Jan and second time last week.
Want to know how should the sex life should be (of course it should be protected). But can I kiss someone. Can I give a blow job to someone or rim *** or get a bj or get rimmed.
Or I should just limit myself to a cuddle hug and hand jobs. (I am 43 year old male and gay)
right now I am abstaining from sex altogether. Plan to go for another round of tests in 2 and 5 months.

If your symptoms have cleared, you can probably assume you're cured, especially since your doctor said you were. If you notice ANY symptoms, abstain and see your doctor promptly.

Best to you. :)
Thanks @auntiejessi. I m currently abstaining for another 3 plus months let's see post that
Best of luck :)

Syphilis doesn't cause warts or moles. Do you mean that you had a syphilis rash? It sounds as if you had secondary syphilis, at least.

What were your follow up test results for syphilis after you finished the treatments? They look for a four-fold drop on your numbers, so your TPHA would have to drop way down.

If you are cured, you can do anything you like. If you are with any previous partners, make sure they have been tested and treated, or you could get infected again, even using condoms.

Assuming u r completely cured, u can have a normal sex life.
Likewise, do take protection during sex.
