Does anyone have trouble with their asthma while taking antibiotics?

I have problems with taking antibiotics.  I get an asthma flare up when I take certain antibiotics.  Does anyone else experience this?  I am beginning to worry that I won't be able to take any antibiotics soon.

Hi there and thank you for visiting MedHelp's forums.  We are happy to try to answer your question.  First, your doctor is the best person to connect with for help on this subject.  in answer to your question, yes.  Taking antibiotics can affect your asthma.  https://www.webmd.com/allergies/news/20040526/antibiotics-may-increase-allergies-asthma.  However, there is some question also about whether it is the bacteria the antibiotics are treating that is actually triggering asthmatic symptoms.  Speak to your doctor about this.
