I think you should see your doctor to rule out any infections - take a friend with you if you need to - and ask about vulvodynia.
I'm not sure if this was part of a sexual assault, but if it was, I'm sure there is an emotional aspect to this as well. (That in no way lessens the physical effects - maybe heightens them, even.)
