The only time a Uro would see you erect is if you were having issues w/ ED. If they prescribed Viagra, Cialis or one of the other ED meds & you had no response, they might suspect venous leak, and to confirm this they would perform a Doppler Ultrasound. What they do is inject w/ a medication that produces an erection & then perform the Ultrasound to see where the blood is (or ISN'T) flowing & measure the velocity of blood going INTO the penis, and the velocity going OUT. There should be a large difference between the 2, i.e., going IN should be much greater than flow going OUT. So ordinarily no, they will not be seeing you with an erection, they might question you about the quality of your erections & if you're able to maintain them enough for intercourse or other sexual activity. I think you're just going to have to bite the bullet & see a Dr. - believe me, they are NOT going to be shocked or embarrassed by the size or appearance, and not by your question either. This is their business & their area of expertise & they will be all business, there won't be any negative comments or jokes & this information - by LAW - remains private, no one else will know. I think if you go & see how easily they deal with this, it will put you at ease. They also know that many guys are embarrassed to talk about this or ask questions, so they will do their best to put you at ease. I really think you have to see a Dr. (preferably a Urologist), otherwise I don't see how you can ever get this issue resolved.

I agree w/ CurfewX - see a Dr. I can understand why this would be embarrassing, but advice here will probably not be of much help. If I were you, I’d prbly prefer to see a Urologist, because they are very used to dealing w/ issues related to male Genitals & their correct functioning, so he/she would likely be pretty comfortable talking about this stuff, whereas some reg Dr’s might not be, and since you’re already hesitant about it, having someone who’s not uncomfortable may put you at ease as well. Also a Uro may be more likely to know what treatment options exist, if any.

Since you’re 31, by now you must have seen Dr’s who’ve examined you for things like testicular cancer (they feel the restocked for any unusual lumps) or hernia, so you must have had Dr’s who’ve seen you by now. If so, maybe they said nothing or you didn’t ask - ??

A cpl other Q’s - how large are you when erect? Some guys w/ very small penis when soft are normal size when erect. Also, some guys who are heavy, w/ a lot of abdominal fat, appear to be quite small just because the penis is sort of hidden behind that extra tissue - don’t know if that’s the case for you, but if so, losing some weight may make you look larger.

Finally, remember that most women are not going to judge a guy just based on penis size - for one thing, they get more satisfaction from clitoral than vaginal stimulation. And anyway, anyone who judges you that way is prbly not worth knowing!

Hi - there is no service here to email.  All of the answers are posted right here in the forums.  Penis pictures aren't allowed here, and looking at your penis wouldn't help anyone diagnose the problem anyway.  There is absolutely nothing to be scared of - a small penis is NOT life-threatening.  Calm your fears and go to the doctor.  Only a doctor can determine if there is something amiss, or whether your penis is a normal size for you.
