Blowned up painful neck during trumpet playing.

Hello, It's quite a while since I am suffering from this condition. At first, I felt the pain of my uvula so I was to doctor and after endoscopic observation, he said everything is okay. But now my uvula is okay most of the time but when I play or try to breathe out air with pressure there appeared to bump on my neck and after longer playing it is also painful. When I don't play for a while it is almost okay. I did a little bit of research what could it be and I ended up with these possibilities:  pharyngocele or laryngocele. Am I worrying up to much and it is okay or what should I do?

Hello and welcome to medhelp's forums.  We're sorry you are experiencing this. My suggestion is to see your health care provider to discuss.  That's the best way to understand what might be going on. And this is particularly important as it is impacting your ability to play your trumpet as you wish or comfortably. I'm not sure if you mean inside your neck or outside as that is unclear from your description. https://www.healthline.com/health/neck-lump#pictures-of-neck-lumps. The pictures are a little hard to look or at least a few of them are but it may give you some idea of what you can identify your issue with.  Your idea of pharyngocele could also be accurate.  An Ear, Nose and Throat doctor would be a great specialist to see for help with this.  We wish you the best.

I saw ENT doctor something like half of year before and he said that everything is okay, only my uvula had something like chronic inflammation but he said that it is quite ordinary in todays population.
So, would the immflamation be the cause of uvula pain?
