Forgotten Urine Sample

I had to do a urine sample and put it in the car glovebox to drop it in, i have type 2 diabetes, so yeah its a week later and I forgot to drop it in got it out and it now has red bits floating around, what could these be ? The urine was clear when I made the sample

I wouldn't worry.  I would throw it away.  If you ordinarily don't have red bits in your urine when it is fresh, don't worry about week old urine in a glove box.  Pitch it and don't worry.

ya, don't worry.  That could be the container or just what happens as urine gets festering from sitting.
