Why am i having such unusual periods for im only 19?

Im 19 but for maybe a year and a half or more ive had unusual periods, sometimes itd be normal then start again a few days later again for another week or two but other times ill just have a period that goes on for like a month so itll from brownish blood to heavy flow of regular blood and thats whats happening to me right now. My doctor isnt seeing patients right now and im so hesitant to go to a hospital since all this virus stuff is going around
