Ok, I made dumb decisions in the past regarding oral sex (my post history is high anxiety).
Anyways, oral cancer has always been a concern, but now I'm experiencing odd symptoms. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. It feels like something is in the back of my throat on the right side when I swallow spit. Pain in the right ear, right jaw and in the back of right eye. No pain when eating. I googled (yep!) and it seems like glossopharyngeal neuralgia. I came across a story that said base of tongue cancer can cause this. I've been seeing an ENT who thinks it's LPR, but this right side business seems like it could something more sinister.
If it is cancer from HPV it would have developed in 6 or 5 years, but I'm a stressor especially in the last 6 years so it could have expedited everything easy.
I got my throat scoped earlier this year, but I plan on making an appointment with the ENT tomorrow to see if anything else can be done. It was difficult finding anything thay matched my symptoms until I read about glossopharyngeal neuralgia.
