Dark Shadow, Weak Retina, WWOP

I have some transparent floaters in my eye. The left eye has more cobweb like floaters comparatively to right eye. I only notice them when looking to the surface like road, wall, white screen, sky (mostly). .. Recenetly i have been noticing something shadowy in my peripheral vision when i make my eyes wide or when i look extreme up or corner and at the same time if move my head frequently. As long as i keep my eyes wide these shadow just stays there in my lower right(for right eye), lower left corner(for left eye milder than right eye). But when i make my eyes normal these shadows just disappears. I dont even know these shadows are new or always been there. May be i have been trying to notice them recenly so visulaizing them more than usual. These same kind of shadow we notice when pushing our eyes from corner. I went to DNB opthalmologist(Retina Specialist) as this might be something dangerous. After dialation the doctor checked my eyes throughly and told that.. There are some weak point in my retina..and prescribed me to use one eye drop "Nepaflam OD- 1 drop once daily for 3 months" and then revisit. If then he finds something wrong, one laser can be done. I asked doctor wheather some tear happened to my retina or my retina is healthy or not. Doctor replied as retina is perfectly healthy and no tear in my retina. I am confused how come my retina is healthy if there are weak points. In the prescription's diagnosis part they mentioned "WWOP". Now my question is:
1 What is the meaning of weak point in retina? If the weak point is there then how it can be healthy?
2. Is this WWOP dangerous?
3. How weakness in retina related to WWOP?
4. Is the prescribed medicine going to fix this weak retina?
5. Is the shadow that i am seeing dangerous?
6. Should i visit another opthalmologist?

Following are my answers to your questions. Note in advance I cannot give you all the information you need and right up front I would tell you to get an independent second opinion from an EYE MD ophthalmologist that specializes in retina:
1 What is the meaning of weak point in retina? If the weak point is there then how it can be healthy? ANSWER weak point is not a diagnosis so I can't tell you what the doctor was talking about.
2. Is this WWOP dangerous? ANSWER  WWOP means white without pressure and not in and of itself dangerous
3. How weakness in retina related to WWOP? ANSWER I don't know what y ou doctor was refering to
4. Is the prescribed medicine going to fix this weak retina?  ANSWER: the medicication you were prescribed is an anti-inflammatory dropt. No idea what it was prescribed for.
5. Is the shadow that i am seeing dangerous? ANSWER: I can't tell
6. Should i visit another opthalmologist? ANSWER YES with a retina specialist and ask for a copy of your records from your present retina doctor to take to the consultant. It will greatly aid giving you the best opinon possible.

Thanks doctor for replying. I took your suggestion and visited another Retina Specialist. After Check Up he said my eyes are perfectly fine..No eye drop needed. Suggested me to visit after 1 year. Now in my eye report the IOP is 17 and 18. Is this normal?
The eye intraocular pressure (IOP) changes from many times during the day like your blood pressure or your blood sugars.  "Normal IOP"  is generally less than 20 or 21 however because IOP varies a person could have glaucoma with IOP 17 and not have glaucoma with IOP 23.    WWP is something many physicians don't tell a patient about and may not even put in chart as it is not a disease and doesn't lead to any problems.   I'm glad the 2nd opinion worked well for you.  Get a copy of the retina specialists report. Retina specialists normally don't do routine eye exams with glasses test. you will likely need to find a general comprehensive ophthalmologist for your routine care.
