Random fast face tingle numbness

Hello 37 female overweight by more than a little probably normal ish over weight :-(

I have been stressed. Was finally relaxing and my mouth area I could feel it coming on almost numb but not I could still feel. It went away as fast as it came then I got shaky.

Was this a stroke ? Or could it be ? Would I still have signs ? I can stick my tongue out move my head. I’m so freaking out. I cannot go to the doctors right now. Nobody around me understands. They think it’s all anxiety and maybe it is but they don’t know that. Someone anyone help. ehat  should I look for. Can we tell anxiety from stroke

That's difficult to say. Was one side of your body shaky? Did the symptoms last for less than 24 hours?

If it was an event, it was more likely a mini-stroke/TIA. If that is the case, you definitely need to see your doctor because a TIA sometimes means a bigger stroke is coming.

Last just a few seconds. Nothing residual nothing on my body it just like flooded to my face around my lips felt very weird like it was going to affect my tongue or speech but it didn’t and then it was gone. I was very stressed that day. This made the stress worse but it didn’t last more than 3 secs felt it coming on swoosh gone
Well, you almost certainly didn't have a stroke as the effects would have lasted more than 24hrs and would typically include more deficits.

It's possible you had a TIA but that usually would only affect one side of your body. So if it was only on one side, you probably want to get checked out. The good and bad thing about a TIA is that it is very short. That makes it harder to diagnose through tests and such. You should at least talk to your doctor and see if they want to run some blood tests to rule out some kind of clotting disorder.
Thank you for thr info. That makes me feel a little better. It was center of my face. I will get a new doctor (my office shut down due to hospital ownership changes )
