eGFR 72 - should I be worried?

Over the last 6 months, as part of regular bloodwork monitoring for a medication I take, I've seen my eGFR go from 75, 76, 78 but suddenly 72. Is this something to be concerned about? I've brought it up to my GP and also administering Dr but neither seem as concerned as I am. I have a full physical set for June.
I was also told I have a small cyst on my left kidney.
What do these numbers mean? Can they fluctuate? And why the sudden drop?
