Malignancy risk assessment of pancreatic lesion
I realize the only way of knowing is further medical tests, and those are scheduled. However, in the interim, wondering if any characteristics noted on CT of the abdomen are indicative. Impressions are two lesions, likely side-branch IPMNs, one 0.8cm, the other 1.1 cm. Found in head and body. No ductal dilation. No physical symptoms other than weight loss, however that followed an intentional diet. Age is 70s.
Hi there. Am wondering if you made it to the doctor and if there is a follow up to this? Cystic lesions can be cancerous but do also remain stable with no repercussions. From my reading. Let us know if anything has happened with this in the past month since you posted.
