Years of issues, now my semen has hard chunks that have blocked my urethra. Help

Hey everyone, I’m long-time reader, first-time poster.

I’d like to share my story to see if anybody else out there has experienced similar things to me and can give me any advice.

I’m currently 30 years old and have been dealing with urology issues for the last 15 years.

For the first 14 years, my symptoms presented in the form of “attacks”, where I would feel like I needed to urinate even though I didn’t, then get a quick spasm in my penis while urinating, that would trigger what felt like hot lava and pee stuck in my urethra, and pressure on my bowels for an hour or so. Agony. There were no symptoms in-between attacks.

1 year ago, I had the mother of all attacks, it was the same as the others, but was a 10/10 pain and lasted for 5-6 hours, it also made me sick & nauseous for days afterwards, until I took myself to the ER.

After this, I got tests done and discovered I had an extremely tight bladder neck, I went into surgery and had a bladder neck incision. This seemed to offer a little bit of relief from the attacks, but now I had a new set of problems.

This big attack seems to have caused a “spot” of inflammation on my prostate (caught on an MRI), painful urination and extremely chunky semen, like hard lumps of jelly.

After rounds of tests and no real answers, I started seeing a pelvic floor therapist, who determined I had a very tense pelvic floor.

So, I started doing stretches daily, 3 weeks ago, which coincided with a new problem. Those hard lumps of jelly in my semen, which used to just feel uncomfortable coming out (for 11 months), began almost getting clogged.

When ejaculating, I could feel them getting clogged, ejaculation stopping, then the pressure pushing them through and “kind of” exploding out. I started getting scared that one day it would get clogged completely.

*Inb4 you tell me I’m dehydrated, I drink 4-6 bottles of water per day.

Fast forward to this morning, where I had a wet dream and it felt completely clogged, like someone had put a plug in the end of it. I checked my underwear to find absolutely nothing, as I squeezed my urethra, a small amount came out. I then masturbated out of fear and had a very similar feeling, although a little bit came out this time, it was only maybe 25% of what usually comes out.

I took myself to the ER, and they basically sent me away with a referral and an appointment to see a new urologist in 8 weeks from now. My previous urologist couldn’t get me in for 3 weeks either. I called about 10 others and had no luck. I won’t make it that long without another wet dream.

I’m turning here in the hope that somebody has experienced something similar and can give me some insight…

- What happens the next time I ejaculate?

- Where could the clogged ejaculate possibly have gone? I couldn’t see it in my urine.

- Has this happened to anyone before?

- Does any of this sound familiar?

- Could the stretches I just started doing have weakened my bladder neck and caused retrograde ejaculation?

I understand that you guys aren’t doctors, but considering I can’t get into them for a month, I’m hoping for somebody to put my mind at ease, or suggest some sort of solution.

Thanks in advance.

TLDR; My semen has hard chunks that have blocked my urethra.

I am just seeing this question. Still going on? The ER is not the place to work on this. That is a place for acute emergencies that need immediate stabilization. They were right to let you know you need urological ongoing care. Said with kindness. I am not invalidating how you feel about this.  Just want you to get to the right place for help. Do you think you are suffering retrograde ejaculation? https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/retrograde-ejaculation/symptoms-causes/syc-20354890  Read this and see what you think and get back to me. I started reading a lot of forums and found a few people suggesting I take zinc, and also stop taking NSAIDs, which I was taking every day. I did both, and since then, the chunks have gone away almost completely. Whether it's the NSAIDs (Ibuprofen) or the zinc I'm not sure, but one of those has definitely helped. I'm aware about the ER, but the specific ER I went to had 3 urologists on their staff.
