Pill, condom, and pulling-out now I think I'm pregnant?? HELP PLEASE!!

I am 19 years old. I had sex 11 days ago. I am on my third month of yasmin birth control. We used a condom and he pulled-out.

1. I skipped the last pill last month after the doctor said it was fine. I then started my next pack 7 days later making sure there was no more than the 7 days inbetween just like he said.

2. Have taken all my pills this month at 9 pm-SHARP.

3. The condom did not break or have holes and was used correctly.

4. I am really scared of being pregnant even though I know it's probably not possible.

5. I have two pills left and want to skip them to make my period start sooner so I can rest assured. I will not having sex again until January. I will make sure there are only 7 days inbetween.

6. I have cramps today that feel more like gas cramps than period-like, but it's still scarying me!

7. So what are the chances of being pregnant from that and can I skip the last two pills? Does skipping the last pill of the pack last month make it so that I would have ovulated this month even though I didn't let anymore than 7 days go by? I will NOT be having sex for two months because my boyfriend is out of town.

8. I know pulling-out alone is not effective for a few reasons, so I would never do that.

9. We never had sex at all without a condom.

10. This would have been my ovulation time if not on the pill. That doesn't matter, correct?

Please help!! I am really stressed over here. I was never even this stressed when we just used condoms...I have no idea why I'm freaking out now. I am really stressed in school and it could have something to do with it. Just please help and let me know what my chances are of being pregnant and if I can not take the next two pills to make my bleed come sooner. If skipping those pills may make it less effective next month, that's okay because I won't be having sex. But does skipping the pill last month make it not effective this month? My doctor never said anything about it not being effective. Help as soon as you can please!!!

Thank you very much. I had heard of women getting their withdrawal bleed, however, my doctor said that you will not because the level of progesterine in the pills cancels out the progesterine during pregnancy. My boyfriend will be here for Thanksgiving (2 weeks yesterday!) so I will buy and take a test then, unless of course I don't start and need to test sooner. I have cramps today and feel like i'm going to start my period. I did that two months ago thinking it was from being pregnant, and turns out it must have been in my head. So it's hard to trust myself since I do have OCD and worry about things I shouldn't most of the time. I will take my pills and sweat it out for 4 more days. Thanks again for your reply.

Skipping the last pill a month before but not leaving any longer than a 7 day break inbetween pills will not make it likely that it failed this month, correct? That is what I am most worried about. My boyfriend said that even if the pills didn't work, I should stop worrying because we did use condoms and he pulled-out. Even without the pill I would most likely be safe.

I know i'm over-doing it with worry but I just can't help it. Thanks so much. :)

It's not that your going to mess up your cycle but those little pills still contain hormones.  You should follow the directions closely.  Also, some women who are pregnant, not that you are, will get the withdrawl period when they stop the birth control anyway.  If you're really nervous, finish the pills, then take a pregnancy test.  When the test comes up negative, continue taking the Yasmin as usual and don't worry so much.  You'll be fine.  I wish more people who are not ready for a baby would take half as many precautions as you have. =)

Thank you very much. Skipping the last pill last month won't change it then, right? I only had a 7 day break inbetween like the package says. I want to take the last two pills but it's so hard to not worry like crazy! I'm proud of myself for taking as many as I have haha. I have really been freaking. What would happen if I didn't though? How could my cycle be really messed up? Thanks so much!

As all the ladies said, you are probably not pregnant and I stress the "not pregnant" part.  I would relax. Take the last two pills in the pack, you don't want to be messing with your cycle like that.  Calm down, stress can cause a late period and you don't need that now.  You are fine.  I was on Yasmin for a year before my husband and I decided to try for a baby.  I have since found out that I get pregnant very easily but NEVER got pregnant while taking the pill.  That was the only method of birth control we used.  Plus, there were even some days that I would forget to take the pill and have to double up the next day, still, no pregnancy.  I think you're safe.

hi im in the same place as her almost, im 16 and i think im pregnant. im not on the pill. but we did use a condom and he pulled now now my period is late. well normally im always late or it comes early or it doesnt come at all. help
If you used a condom, it is really unlikely you are pregnant if it didn't break. And when condoms break, they break wide open and it is noticeable. Girls/women are late frequently and it can happen out of nowhere. Things that can make us late include having stress, being sick, gaining or losing weight, changing routine.

Thank you. I tried asking a doctor but it said the forums are closed because too many people have been posting stuff lately or something. I'm going to try that again later. I will take a test if I don't get my withdrawal bleed on time. I haven't missed any pills this month and was already 9 days into the new pack before I had sex. I am not supposed to ovulate on these pills, you are right. It also thickens your cervical mucus (which is has). Thanks again. :)

I don't think it's very likely that you are pregnant, especially after all the precautions you've taken. If you really want to know for sure though, or to ease your mind, take a pregnancy test. I don't think when you're on certain pills that you are supposed to ovulate, unless you miss pills, so I wouldn't worry if I were you. Calm down, everything is fine I'm sure. You could also ask the doc on here and see what he thinks.

I'd say its really really unlikely that ur pregnant considering all the protection used. Try and calm yourself down about it, because stressing can cause you to miss your next period and make you worry even more.
