skin infection

I have had this little round spot on my inner arm from the last month and half. it was there for about 10 days and then i noticed marks spreading all over my stomach front, inner forearms, inner thighs and now inner legs and even feet. These spots are round to oval in shape, reddish, scaley, slightly darker on the borders, but do not itch at all. 3 weeks back I went to a GP, who diagnosed me with a fungal infection and prescribed daktarin and selsun to be used as a body wash and terbinafine oral medication. But the rash seemed to then spread on to my inner legs, so the pharmacist prescribed darktacort, with steroids. That seemed to make the spots peel and tear away. Now they have lost the redness accept after a shower. Prior to getting that initial spot, I had a severe flu and took 2 doses of antibiotics. My GP isnt sure if my infection is fungal or viral, but she said to continue with the treatment she has prescribed. Would you be able to advise what this infection is ? Thanks

Suddenly while sitting in my office after hving a fish sandwitch i suddenly started scratching arms & noticed few red itchi spots (redish).  Its winter time now & i take regular bath too.

Can u advice what this could be?

There is no way for me to know  The GP seems to be reasoning well.  If you had antibiotics that kills back the bacteria and that predisposes you to the fungal infection.  You are on antifungal medications and you seem to be reporting an improvement.  Sometimes the medications we use call drug rashes, but this does not sound typical of one.
