Sore Throat

I am waking w a sore throat. It will dissapate throught the day. Also feels better when eating or drinking. I live in a dry area w/ forced air heat and am running a humidifyer which is helping some

My son,34, just returned from clinic, in San Diego-they say he has a tumor near ear and cut into it and to return thurs, for path report, getting vague info as my son can"t hear well. I would like to get him to L. A., but need to know where to take him?  Symptoms are ear canal is swollen and closed off ,very painful -Taking Vicodin-on second antibioticthat has reduced swelling No congestin,cold etc.Where can I take him for the best specialist??
