Blood After Urination

I am a 24 year old male. For about 3 weeks now i have had uncomfortable Urination. After i urinate i feel a small pinch. Last night i noticed a few drops of dark red blood at the tip of my penis after urination. The blood is not in the stream of urination. It is only after i urinate at the tip of the penis. Also, about a week ago after i urinated i still felt like i had to urinate. It felt like i could not get all of the urine out of the bladder. However, this instance only occurred one time.I also notice a litle red spot on the meatus of the penis. I noticed it 21 days ago. SInce then it has not progressed. The red mark did not form into a water blister and it is not extremely painful to urinate.  I have been tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea and the tests were negative.
Do you have any ideas what could cause these symptoms?

Also i forgot to include i have been doing strenuous running for about a week and a half. When i Was worried about a possible STD i took 2g azithromycin, 7 days of doxycycline, 500-mg of cipro twice a day for 7 days. 400-mg of cefexime. (all of these are CDC standards). I took another does of 2g azithromycin last week bc the symptoms did not subside. So as u can see it would most likely not be an STD. I have not had any discharge. Also i notice my urine is smelly.

I have the exact same thing and have found no answers. Did you find a solution? I feel a pinch at the beginning of urination at the base of my penis. Also the tip of my penis is red, but the pain on urination as I said is at the base of the penis and feels like a pinch at the beginning. Both azithromycin and ceftriaxone have note helped.

have the urologist check your prostate

not likely to have a stone stuck to cause these symptoms

That sounds almost exactly like my problem.  Back in March I noticed a pinching, it was like I was having a hard time shutting off the flow of urine.  Then, I felt like I was trying to pass something.  I bore down very hard, and the pain drastically increased, so I stopped.  Then, I got a single bright red drop of blood.  Then I started having the dysuria and urgency.  THEN I saw a single bright red spot in the meatus, which is still there today.  I then went to a urologist to get it checked out, and they put me on Cipro.  Symptoms lessened, but then came back.  After a course of Doxy, the symptoms seemed to subside.  Today, the symptoms are much lessened, but I need to go back to the doc for the ultrasound.  The symptoms I am having now are 1.)  lessened force of urinary stream, 2.)  mild aches and pains in testes, 3.)  mild burning at the tip of the penis, 4.)  NO blood as of my last test (last month), 5.) extreme tenderness at the base of the penis.

Doc - my question for you is - is there any way there could be a kidney or bladder stone stuck in my urethra causing these symptoms?

Icestorm's got my MO down ;)

You may be experiencing march hematuria, but that often causes pink throughout the stream of urine

Those antibiotics are useful for STDs

You are experiencing dyuria and urgency.  Ask your doctor for more help.  Prostatitis or epididymitis can be other reasons for these symptoms.

Give him until the end of Tuesday to reply as he's quiet over the weekend and Monday's catch-up day.
