Lump on jaw?

Well a few weeks ago I found this lump or bump on my jaw its kinda near my nose.
its a little bit smaller than an inch, there skin over it but it looks kind of white ish under my skin.
I went to a dentist but he said he couldn't find a cause for it being there so he gave me a paper
to see a specialist to get a biopsy. I haven't been able to go because I don't have insurance and i'm trying to get it. I might have to wait another week. I'm 19 year old male. in good heath.
But this thing is starting to cause pain on that side of the face, mostly I can feel it like in the
roof of my mouth, thats were most the pain is, its not really painful but its bothering me. also
my lip has been twitching lately, I don't know if thats related. I really just want to know what it
is, and if its okay if I wait a little longer cause I might have to. I think its been there for about a month maybe a little bit long, but its start getting painful tell about 2 weeks ago.
Just in case, when should I seek medical help?

Tylenol is fine so long as you following the instructions on the bottle.  Ice is generally used for acute inflammation so I do not suggest that.

I went to an Oral Surgery and he said its some kind of cyst or tumor.
but he said its nothing to worry about,  so im waiting for my insurance.
But I think its some kind of cyst from trauma, cause I think I might hit my face a
while back. I'll let you know when I find out.
thanks for your time.
