Hi,
Im sorry this has happened to you its very frightening when first diagnosed . I was stage 1a clear cell cancer and had chemotherapy . What has your doctor told you about it ?. Most people with stage 1 dont have to have chemo but mine is a rare type . You need to find out the type stage eg 1a b or c and the grade of the cancer you have and write down any questions you are uncertain about . Everybody is different and so their treatment varies depending on several different factors . Try not to worry too much you will be ok and get through it . let us know what you find out . Take care love Angie xx
I was dx Dec 05 with stage 1 clear cell adenocarcinoma. My tumor was encapsulated--that's a GOOD thing. I was given 6 rounds of Taxotere/carbo. So far I am still in remission. I thank God everyday. You should ask your oncologist for the number of your local support group. Blessings to you!!
