Hi,
As the pain is aggravated by sitting and lying down and there seems to be no other remarkable aspects of your history that points towards an infectious cause, this sounds like a musculoskeletal or arthritic pain.
A consult with a rehabilitation medicine specialist may help. Physical therapy may help alleviate your symptoms. One has to determine the specific muscle or nerve that is involved here.
Have you tried taking any medications?
Did the medications relieve your symptoms?
similar pain in my right scrotum has occured,no pains while walking or doing any normal job ,but while sitting idle or while going to sleep ,the pain starts ,it becomes uncomfortable to deal on with the pain, however there is no swelling in any side of the scrotum ,,, the initial diagnosis done by the doc included the normal prescription of the Nucoxia 120mg for a week with scrotal support.........lets see where it turns out
hi, thank you so much for your comments & questions. i am not a cyclist nor a bike rider and i have not had any trauma to this area, not counting the normal hits & kicks that accured during childhood.
i have done a fair amount of running and regular gym style exercizing over the past 20 years, and less running & exercizing over the past 3 years. for the past 4 years i have a desk job, before i was up and about durring the work day hands- on work.
one thing that i feel may be contributing is that over the past year or so an increased intensity of sexual climax, it is at a much higher level of intensity than it has ever been in my life. i wonder if this could cause a rupture or muscle pull.
thank you for your help
Hi,
Firstly ,an infectious process has to be ruled out. A urinary tract infection has to be excluded.A urinalysis and urine culture as well as culture of prostatic secretions should be done. Also, a scrotal ultrasound may help exclude any involvement of the structures within the scrotal sac.
One differential for your case is pudendal neuralgia. This is a type of nerve related pain in the area supplied by the pudendal nerve ( eg scrotum, anus and genitalia). This is pain aggravated by sitting down .
Do you usually do cycling exercises, ride a bike?
Any history of trauma to the area?
dude i had the same problem and its something to do with your Vas Deferens.. rest is upto yoru doctor .. he will pescribe u some antibiotics.
