Did u ever figure it out?
For how long have you had this?
Does it come and go by seasons? Maybe 2 months of the year in different seasons?
Does it reoccur at the same time sometimes?
Do the attacks last from 5 to 20 minutes each?
do u smoke/ drink? What's the frequency?
Do your eyes get watery, sharp pain in the back of one eye?
Do u feel a burning with irritated scalp?
Sinus stopped up?
If so...
I would look for "cluster headaches", Nevralgia.
The usual treatment is...
Conventional treatment:
The usual treatment is oxygen at 7 litter/min
Beta-blockers
Imitrex
Tegretol
Unconventional treatment but works good and right away:
-Apply top right ear about one inch
-Sinus of side hurting
-Back of neck
With muscle pain cream, smells but definitely worth it.
If u are a smoker... Try quit smoking or change brand of cigarettes.
Good luck
Hi, this could be due to nerve involvement (neuralgia) or muscular headache. Sharp shooting pains are seen in trigeminal neuralgia whereas pressure headaches are mainly associated with tension headaches. Do consult doctor for investigations. Please visit website http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Headache for more information.
i been getting them to but all over my head at any time but my paint is only for 3 to 4 seconds an no more that 10 seconds i seen my neurologist and he told me its muscle tension. around my ears. i been suffering with this problem for over 6 years it come and goes. You should see your family doctor, It can be anything from stress to change in weather. But they are called Ice pick headache where a sharp pain will shoot all over your head at any time an any place.
