Red Blotches on Face and Body

Good Day,

I would just like to know, what the cause could be for red blotches just appearing on my daughter's face of 18months old, it appears and then 2 minutes later it's gone again...but it happens more than 5 times a day, sometimes it looks like heat rash, but it even happens when it's cold and it happens around the eyes as well and her left eye especially becomes puffy and swollen

This discussion is related to suspicious lookin red rash.

Maybe you should not masturbate so much, learn to spell and chill out on the energy drinks. It might improve a lot of things in your life.

Hello! I'm 15 years of age. And i get the same problem, I'm imbarrised to say that when i masturbate it comes up more worse i don't get it in the face but more on the chest and stomach arena. it apprears suddenly aroudn the shoulders and moves down and within seconds spreads over my stomach when i stand up and take some deep breaths it seems to go away i've never experiemented with it and just tried to ignore the problem as soon as i see it appearing i quickly take deep breaths and fan myself off. mine seems more like heat rash and happenes once a day, but only when im at my dads house maybe i could be illergic to the sort of dog he has. i've never had problems befor with the dog or never had this intill 3 weeks ago when i went all shaky from drinking 5 energy drinks. i got tested for sugar diebites and never had it. and after that they just said i was fine. i based it on stress/axiety but the red rashes on the stomach kind of has me wondering. but i went to the hospital 3 times in 3 days when i had the shakyness illness wich apparently was a panic attack. i don't know, and im a hypercondriac. the rash i get on my stomach does not itch, or irritate. it just comes and goes. i don't know, i hope it's helped you that i have the same problems, i may soon go and see a doctor

Hi,

It could be due to any of the causes that you mention or simply a flushing of the skin.

It would be best to consult a pediatrician once about her symptoms.

Let us know if you need any other information and post us on how she is doing.

Regards.

Well as I said it is not lesions, just red flames and as quick as it appears it disappears and not even enough time to put on some ointment, etc and it does not leave any marks or it does not irritate her....very strange I might add, could it be an allergic reaction to a type of food that she eats or the type of detergent that I was her clothes with?

Hi,

This could be an allergic reaction to some unknown substance or dermatitis.

You need to wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products on his face and use a medicated sunscreen whenever you take him out.

Apply calamine lotion at the site of the lesions and see if it helps.

It would be advisable to consult a skin specialist or pediatrician for his symptoms and a proper clinical examination.

Let us know if you need any other information and post us on how he is doing.

Regards.
