thank you very much for your advice. I've made an appointment to the doctor finger cross everything will be alright
Hi there.
For breast feeding women, it is very common to have irritations in the breast-nipple area caused by some form of trauma during breast feeding. However, I suggest you show this to your doctor for proper assessment. Other causes would include fungal infection or allergic, and contact dermatitis. Fungal infections can be diagnosed with a KOH smear and can be treated with topical antifungals. Also ask your doctor if it will be safe to continue breast feeding if there is indeed a proven fungal infection. For now, keep the area dry and refrain from scratching.
Regards and God bless.
