You need to see an ENT (ear, nose n throat) specialist. I have the same problem n now they are referring me to a neurologist. I had oral surgery to extract a molar n now wondering if the doctor damaged one of my nerves under my tongue.
Please describe the pain site, Surface topography, localized or diffuse, color, consistency, intact mucosal surface , discolored or ulcerated, swelling or flat, any triggering factor? pain quality, pain duration, What ease the pain? Past medical and dental history ? All these information is needed to establish a clinical working diagnosis.
yeah its sort of off and on on with the pain im trying not to go to the dr cause of the cost and i have been to so many in 1 year for gerd and stuff with no help but plenty of bills.
Seeing an oral pathologist or oral surgeon is advised.
Is it like an ache that is off and on? if so, that is cuase your lymph nodes are swollen.
