All right. First off I am 17 years old and no I am not sexually active so pregnancy can be ruled out right away. I myself even believed for a while I was another Virgin mary but, anyway...
Last summer when I was on a school trip, I became really ill one morning. I knew I had to vomit but every time I would gag nothing would happen. I even tried sticking my fingers down my throat but all I did was gag some more. I couldn't eat anything because I was scared of getting sick. I would feel better throughout the day and eat some so I wouldn't pass out, but in the morning the same thing would happen again. I just thought it was because of the time change and my eating patterns were out of whack, but even after I got home the same thing would happen. I lost a whole lot of weight too from not eating and honestly, I was really scared. I went to my doctor once a week for about a month when they thought I was lactose intolerant then... I don't know a whole bunch of stuff but I knew it wasn't food related. It was something else. But before the summer was over, I was fine.
Just last week, the same thing started happening again, only it's not as bad as last summer. This time, I wake up feeling nauseas, gag a few times (nothing comes out), take some Emitrol and go about my morning. On my walk to school (approx. an hour or so later) I am fine. The only thing is, over the weekend I was waking up totally fine. I am thinking maybe it is the pressure of the end of the year and all that, but I honestly don't feel pressured, at least not that I am aware. I started searching around online and found that, last summer, I believe I had Gastroparesis since I was exhibiting the same symptoms and I couldn't have a bowel movement and if I did there wasn't much to it (that could have just been from lack of eating though). This time I feel it is different. I do eat, because I feel hungry (last summer I just didn't even feel hungry), and I have bowel movements only it is usually diarrhea. I am finding myself have more gas release, mostly burping, but that could just be what I eat. I don't know. More recently, I would start to feel a little "off" further along in the day, but it usually goes away. I am tired all the time and go to be sometimes before 9:00. However, I wake up sick every morning between 5:00 and 5:45, when I usually wake up at 6:30. I try to get myself togo back to sleep but my stomch just hurts too much. I find that if I lay flat on my back and don't move I feel better and if I sit up or bend at the waist, my stomach starts to hurt again.
I will honestly say that whatever this is is scaring me, especially since I am going to Europe the beginning of July and I would really like to have this resolved by then so I can have a good time. I told my mom about it last week and she just thought it was a stomach flu and since over the weekend I was fine, I haven't told her about the relapse because she will blame it on anxiety or say that it is all phsycological, that I am scared of getting sick and so I do. That could be a possibility, but I doubt it.
Anyway, that may seem like a bit of gibberish and excuse any spelling mistakes, but anyone have any insight on this? I would REALLY like to know what the hell is wrong with me.
