I-131 dosage

What would be the range of dosage for Stage 1 thyroid cancer (one malignant nodule)? Is hoarseness thereafter a short or long term side effect?  thank you.

I think the range is from 50 to 200.  When I got mine, they told me the standard was 100 or 150, depending on if lymph nodes were involved.  In my case, I had lymph involvement so they gave me 150.

It may depend on the size of the nodule, and whether or not it was encapsulated.  The hoarseness usually doesn't last for too long.  Did you have a total or partial thyroidectomy?
