Her weight is 64 and height 5' 1". She has slight varicose vein problem.
Thank you.
Hi
In this case, we may need to consider BP maintenance. If there are abrupt fluctuations and elevations in blood pressure, then this may be the cause. Increased blood pressure may cause headaches.
Also, for knee pain and in the absence of any redness and swelling ,bursitis, arthritis and some infections may be readily ruled out. Weight problems may cause joint pains especially in the knees and ankles. Would you know your wife's weight?
Thanks for the quick response.
BP means Blood Pressure.
There is no redness or swelling in the extremities.
Knee joints
Hi
I would just like to clarify what you meant by BP here?
The presence of a headache and joint pains may suggest an infection or a possible autoimmune disorder. Infections from both viral and bacterial causes may present with these. Viruses like adenovirus, EBV, and parvoviruses have been shown to present as joint pains. However, most viral infections present with a rash. In your wife’s case, the condition has been present for a year already. At this point, an infection although still a differential may be least likely here. Arthritic or musculoskeletal pains have to be considered.
Is there any redness or swelling in the extremities?
Which joints are involved here?
