Chemo drugs stored in fat cells

Can chemothearpy drugs be stored in fat cells that can latter be released with wieght loss?  I finished my treatments for Hodgkings Lymphoma May of 2006.  It is now June of 2008.  In the last three to four months I have lost 15 pounds.  I am having problems with concentration and memory such as leaving door unclock when I go to bed or putting remaining frozen corn in drawer where  I got a closure for the open bag instead of freezer.  I feel like I am going crazy.  Others around me have notice I'm not all there also.

Thank you for you help.

I finished up chemo for ovarian cancer in the middle of June. I have started to lose weight (only about 5 pounds so far) and have found in the last couple of days that I am having some of the same symptoms I had with chemo. I did a Google search to see if there was a possibility of chemo being released from fat cells as you lose which led me here.

I completed chemo for NH Lymphoma in 2009.  It is not 11/10 and I have purposely begun loosing weight.  I have started having some of the same side effects that I experienced during chemo.  Everything tastes gross, smells gross, and some anxiety.  I am not sure that this is not related to stores of the drugs that are being released from somewhere.

I am three years out from chemo and just started a new eating program to loose some excess weight. I am taking a lot of vitamins, eating around 1100-1300 calories and the break down is about 50% protein. 30% carbs and 20% fat. I have lost 14 pounds in 4.5 weeks and last week my hair started shedding dramatically. My part is getting wider and my hair is getting very thin. I am also wondering if some amount of Taxotere is being released as the stored fat is being burned through...

Hi,
Weight loss is deu to the shrinkage of fat cells and no, technically chemotherapy drugs cannot be stored in fat cells and released later.
what is in the fat cells is only fat.You weight loss issues could be due to entirely different reasons and so could your forgetfulness.
You may have to go to a neurologist for  athorough evaluation to root out the cause for this.
