hital hernia

for the past 4 months i been having stomach aches and my gastro doctor did the test where they put the tube in your mouth and he said i have a hital hernia and its small.so he put me all all types of medications and none seem to be
working now day 2 iam on prevacid and i  dont know if its working.my dr said my hital hernia is too small and dont
require surgery,but it hurts alot every day what should i do.

iam going to force them to do surgery i cant take this pain.i dont know what else to do

THis is amazing...I too was just diagnosed with a small hernia and there are days it really hurts...I can take a pain pill and nothing seems to help.  I'm not sure why we suffer with something considered so small.  Stress, fatigue, diet...all are contributing factors in this.  My doctor gave me a drug called Levsin...an anti-spasmotic.  I just took the first one so I guess I'll see if it helps and I'll let you know.

yes they did cat scan,gallbadder and even hida scan and they didnt find nothing,
just the hital hernia,i dont know why it brothers me so much when doctor said its small.

Did they check your gallbladder, too?  I have a hiatal hernia, too, but it didn't bother me until it got big.  

My chiropractor does a hiatal hernia adjustment that helps.  You might check into that.
