Hi

Some moles may not necessarily be raised .These brown spots sound like hyperpigmented areas. This does not sound infectious but you may have this assessed by your doctor so that a baseline examination may be done. A biopsy may be done if the areas appear to have irregular borders, itchiness , scaling and discolorations. Otherwise, this does not sound something that requires immediate intervention.

I always thought moles stick out a little though, they dont stick out, the increase is very slow i first noticed the first one about half a year ago and up until maybe a week ago they increased.

Hi

These brown spots may be moles. Continue to observe the spots. If they continue to increase in numbers then you need to have this assessed readily. In the absence of redness, itchiness, swelling and pain, this does not sound infectious. Do not pick on the area. Take pictures of the skin condition for future reference.
