right sided pain and swelling

For over a year now I have had right sided pain and swelling. MRI's and x-rays show nothing, ana came back a very low positive for lupus. I have no pain on my left side. My face, neck, arm and knee are swollen and have been so for about 1-2 years. I had my eyes tested and right eye is far worse with a stigmatism, that apparently on 10% of normal people have. Rhemy told me I had fibromyalgia, my Dr. disagrees because it's only on my right side but he has no answers at this time.
Thanks for any help I can get.

Hi,
I have never had a left sided accident or even right. I am 52 years old. No I have never tried Bromelain enzyme or even heard of it. I had a back injury at work in 1994, stopped work in 1996 and had surgery in 1999 on L3, L4 and L5 in lower back. It mostly swells on my right face, neck, arm, knee and foot and Drs. have no idea what could be wrong, I have heard RSDS, Fibromyaligia to name a few. My arm is getting worse by the day with so much pain I can't stand it and want to remove my right arm completely.
Thanks for the suggestion at this point it can't hurt to try.

Have you ever had an injury to the left side of your head?  What is your age? (People over 40 are usually deficient in enzymes, which help control swelling and inflammation).
Bromelain enzyme is anti-inflammatory and increases the breakdown of fibrin, which forms around an inflamed area.  Whatever the cause of your problem, I would recommend taking proteolytic enzymes to reduce the swelling. They can't hurt, but they sure can help!
If you are hesitant to try them, you can do some research or call a nutritionist. Not all enzyme supplements are created equal. Some work much better than others. I'm taking some right now, to reduce dental swelling. Works wonders!
