what/ why is this happening to me?

for some reason, the right side of my groin, has like a lump, and it feels like a lump of hardened fat.. but i dont know if its a lymph node or not. and it hurts, but the thing is it didnt happen till after my "friend" left for basic and we had been sleeping together with protection no less, and now that im not sleeping with anyone else; i was wondering could that be why im in pain on the right of my groin. by the way i am a femaler and it hurts. and im gettin ready to start university in a few weeks, and if its just a lymph node problem how can i get it to go away?

Almost sounds like a cyst, but I would still recommend having a Dr look at it.

I would suggest going to your Dr, don't seem like an STD but it should be checked out.
