Thyroid and Coughing

I had 1/2 of my thyroid removed in 1990.  I was taken off the Sinthroid due to the fact my thyroid blood tests came out normal without Sinthoid.  I get checked every year and the tests still come up norma.  I developed a cough over 5 years ago and the shortness of breath.  The same symptoms I am mentioning are the same as those taking the Sinthroid.  Could it have something to do with part of the Thyroid being gone??

This discussion is related to Synthroid and chronic cough.

I get shortness of breath and coughing when i am hypo. What were your test results? Give us your last numbers with ranges so we can see. Just because your dr said you are within normal ranges doesn't mean you are...lol
Some are not using the newest ranges. Also did he run a tsh, free t4 and free t3? Did anyone run antibody tests as well? If you have hashis, then your ranges are completely diff. Get your most recent labs and post them so we can take a look.  :)
Hang in there! :)
