pac's

I get pac's  usually after my evening meal. If I eat too much it makes an ache below my ribs left oft of center. It usually lasts over night till after lunch sometimes after breakfast. I have to be real carefull not to over eat.
If I get too tired I get pac's. some times they will last several days. When they are strong I feel real weak.
I feel real bad if they are strong. I can easily feel them.

I just posted my first comment here last night regarding reflux/arrythmias.  I also have to be very careful about what I am eating and how much....which can be difficult at times because I love food:)  If my system is out of whack even in the slightest my heart starts doing the macarena!  I noticed when I tried to cut back on sugar etc, the instant I snuck a bite of anything with sugar my heart went beserk, fast and erratic.  I have spent countless hours disecting every move I make in the past trying to connect things with my palps in order to lesson their frequency and intensity.  So far I don't have alot of rational reasons.  I wish I could turn off the mental switch and not notice them or care.

Here is one to try ....
I had PACs so bad that I wore a portable ekg for a week ... doc said all was well ... don't worry about it ..

A while later I went on Atkins ... lost 50 lbs (from 230 to 180 ) during the 6 months. The neat thing is that almost immediately afther the diet change all the "bad" things stopped.

No more, gas, bloating, acid reflux, heartburn, PACs, sleeping 7-10 hrs/day and feeling like ****. With the level blood sugar ... like being on uppers I had more energy than I knew what to do with ... slept 4-5 hrs/day and always ready to go.

A year or so later ... fell in love with carbs again ... all the bad stuff returned.

This past thursday/friday ... PACs so bad I thought I was not going to make it. Saturday I ate no carbs to speak of, not a PAC all day ... Sunday though was out of town and had a feast at BK out of town ... by 4PM .. the PACs were in full "freak me out mode" ...

Weird. Something about sugar? Processed Food? ... Any body else notice similar?

Sounds just like my splenic flexure!  Pain up under that ol' left rib?  Hurts like the dickens (and we all know how bad the dickens hurts!:)) Lasts all night?  There is a loop of bowel that goes up under and is near your spleen, hence the name.  Very easy to get air bubbles and other stuff stuck there.  When I eat too much or the wrong foods, I get it bad.  The same nerve that innervates the bowels, innervates the cardiac system and a lot of us have noticed that eating too much and/or bowel problems will cause more PVCs.  I try to eat smaller meals more often!
