Muscle twitching

i'm also a 28 yr old woman and this is strange cause we also have similar symptoms, i have ongoing muscle twitching all over my body and like you it comes especailly when i'm asleep or sitting down, i don't excercise that much, i do go to the gym but i don't over excercise and i have these annoying twitches with sometimes heavy legs, i did an MRI on my spinal cord and it came back normal, hmmmm so i'm confused now...

This discussion is related to Muscle twitching in legs and arms.

Twitching was my first symptom of getting hypothyroid.  Once I started eating iodized salt specifically my goiter went away followed by symptoms a few months after.

well its a long story i wasn't feeling well about two three months ago and my doctor checked the symptoms and thought i might have inner ear infection so of course i took all these drugs for inner ear infection and then i took an ear test and it came back normal so i thought this might be the result of drugs or side effects, and i was on buspar too the anti-anxiety drug for a little bit, my neurologist also gave me neurobion i think thats what its called for vitamin B1, B6, B12  deficiency and Dalfon, Sigma, for restless legs and neurological disorders... also Dormival (they're natural vitamin sleeping pills) i feel like a waking pharmacy...but anyways, i thought that maybe taking all of these medications would do that? i'm still taking these shots my second week is today actually but like you Mrs. Bartolomeo it hasn't really helped much but my friends were on it and they told me that i need to stay on these shots for sometime like 3 months or so if i want to see any results...so i'm not sure what it is...Thank u though for your replies.

sorry i thought i was adding to another patient's story, i just read a comment from a woman with similar symptoms and my question looks like i'm talking to an imaginary friend,  i just wanted to add that its been with me for sometime now and i'm taking vitamin B definiciency shots once a week, i also feel burning at the bottom of my feet to the side and at the calf, sometimes on the tip of my fingers too, i don't know if this is a side effect of certain drugs that i've been taking? also sometimes heaviness in one leg when i lift it up...so i don't know... hope to hear feedback soon, thank you.
