pain in left side under rib cage and radiating

I also have pain in the left lower side in the spleen area, the pain comes and goes, sometimes radiating around to my back. I put myself on a high fiber diet last week to see if that would help, and am also taking Zantac, I have a lot of gurgling going on in the same area. i feel fine otherwise, no headaches loss of weight, no fatigue, or feeling sick, nothing except this pain. what do you think it is?

I have the same pains. Left side just under the ribcage that radiates to my side and back. Sometimes it feels like I put 10 lbs of potatoes in a t lb sack. My gallbladder was removed just over 3 years ago and I was eating horribly. I've been under a lot of stress and have panic attacks.  I started eating better and less and it helps a lot. A few years ago I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Dr says I have neroprothy but im not claiming that. If there is any more info available please share.

I have seen a doctor , he first thought it was stress related, then an Ulcer, gave me prednisone too in case it was inflamation. After doing lots of research I am leaning toward possibly Diverticulosis. I am going for a Colonoscopy next month. I have seen so many other people writing about the exact symptoms as mine, who have had all the tests done and have come up with a blank. I am not feeling ill at all. and when the pain subsides I am perfectly normal. could it be stress after all? causing all this pain and gurgling? I have had a tremendous amount of stress since before Last Christmas. As I  watched as my best friend was   diagnosis and treated for Liver and Colon cancer.  and suffered terribly  then just recently passed away.  and I can't seem to let go of her death. it effected me more than my own mother passing did, because we were like sisters.

It could be a very large number of things, so I'd recommend seeing a doc as soon as you can. It could be minor: a pulled muscle or fighting off some sort of illness. Could be more serious: something to do with your pancreas or gastric motility issues. But if it's been bothering you for a little while, you'll want to see a doc.
