contact lense stuck on eye

I took a long nap after work in the evening and when I finally got up after midnight to freshen up and properly go to sleep. I could not take my contact lense out of my left eye. The right one came out easily. I tried wetting solution but it was like a sticker on my eye. I came on this site to seek if there are ways to help the situation. after reading some of the comments. I used contact solution again to hydrate and used my eye lid to somehow move it out of my cornea and then it came off. YOu can not imagine the panic I felt...bottom line...........

WHEN YOU GET HOME TAKE OUT YOUR CONTACTS LENSES FIRST THING.
NEVER SLEEP OR NAP WITH THEM ON....it is serious.

I just vowed to never repeat this stupidity again. I hate wearing glasses and a couple of times I slept with them on when i had my boy friend over................will never ever do it again!!

Are you sure the lens is still in place? If it is not then you might have irritated your eye by trying to take out something that was not there. This may not be true in your case, but I have known it to happen to others.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME a couple hours ago i tries to take off my contact lenses becasue they suddenly went weirdly blurrry... the right lense came out, but i CANT take out my left lense. its in there, i can see it but my entire eye has gone red and painful. when i try to take out the contact lense the moment that my skin touches my eye, it burns and its so painful. please help me, give me a tip to get the lense out of my eye becuasse i cant see, my eye is red, and its horrible pain. i dont have access to a optemetrist right now and a quick fix would be greatly appreciated! if not a quick fix, i welcome any piece of advice....

If you have bad vision the contacts lens is not on the eye and its unlikely that its still in the eye. If you can see with your glasses thats a good sign. If your glasses are blurry also its very important to tell your parents now and get in to the ophthalmologist or optometrist that fit you.
