is my spleen enlarge

I was dx with a strep throat and mono. The strep is gone, no more swelling in the throat,no more fever,not tired anymore, apetite is now back. This has all been accomplished in the last 10 days. My doc has requested I wait another 3 weeks with the possibility my spleen MAY swell up. Upon a physical exam by my doc and by the ER, my spleen had not yet sweeled. How can I tell if or when my spleen is swollen without running to the doc's every hour?

Ryman, it could enlarge a bit and you might not feel it at all. But if it does enlarge a bit, people describe the feeling as 'feeling stuffed' under the left portion of the rib cage. It could also make it a bit uncomfortable to try to bend forward, in that area of your body.
